You can also use sweet teriyaki sauce as a marinade for fish, meat, poultry and vegetables.
A simple sauce or marinade to prepare.
This teriyaki marinade is not only delicious for salmon and other fish, but also for meat, poultry and vegetables.
You can add, at the end of a stir-fry dish, the teriyaki sauce to the meal for a delicious sweet dish.
I have used a beef fond instead of a beef broth.
Preparation time: 10 minutes, and 1 hour to cool for a teriyaki marinade.
Amount: approximately 0.5 liters.
6 tablespoons brown sugar,
1 teaspoon ginger powder
0.38 liters beef fond,
6 tablespoons soy sauce,
2 tablespoons cornstarch,
4 tablespoons white wine.
Dissolve the brown sugar and ginger powder in the beef fond and soy sauce.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Mix the cornstarch with the white wine.
Add it to the beef fond mixture and let it simmer until it thickens.
***It is now ready for use as a teriyaki sauce.***
Let it cool down for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
The teriyaki marinade is then ready for use.
