DutchCAULIFLOWER WITH MUSTARD (appetizer)auliflower with Mustard (Appetizer)

A delicious cold appetizer. Cauliflower with Mustard-sauce. A dish from Marocco.

Servings: 4.
Preparation time: 25 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 Cauliflower,
2 1/2 oz olive oil,
1 tablespoon mustard,
1/2 teaspoon vinegar,
2 teaspoons freshly cut chives,
pepper,
salt,
water.

Extra materials:

pan,
mixing bowl,
whisker,
chopping knife,
platter.

Directions:

Cut and separate the cauliflower into florets and rinse them with cold water.
Boil some water and add salt.
As soon as the water starts to boil, add the florets and continue to boil on medium heat, for about 10 minutes.
Then, take the florets out of the water and let them drain and cool down.
The cauliflower is now ready to be processed.

Directions sauce:

In a bowl, mix the mustard along with the vinegar, pepper and some salt.
Continue to stir whilst adding the olive oil to the mixture, until the sauce thickens.

Arrange the florets onto a platter, pour over some of the sauce and decorate with some freshly cut chives.

Serve Cold.
