The marinade is quick to prepare, and the roasted chicken thighs are spicy and savory.
It is delicious and filling.

Servings: 4.
Preparation time: 2 or 3 days marinating and 20 to 30 minutes to roast (convection oven).

Ingredients:

1,000 grams (clean) chicken thighs.

Ingredients Marinade:

2 tablespoons salt,
1 tablespoon ground white pepper,
1.5 teaspoon sugar,
2 cloves finely chopped garlic,
1 piece ginger finely chopped,
1 teaspoon five spice powder,
Splash of Shaoxing rice wine (can be replaced by dry sherry if rice wine is not available),
Splash of light soy sauce.

Directions:

Put the chopped garlic and ginger in a large bowl, then put salt, pepper, five spice powder, rice wine (or dry sherry), sugar and light soy sauce in the bowl.

Stir it well together.

Move the chicken thighs on both sides through the marinade and put them in a separate bowl.
Pour the remaining marinade on top.

Let it rest 2 to 3 days to marinade.

Roasting:

Rub the chicken thighs for roasting good in with a little light soy sauce, place the chicken thighs in the oven and roast them in about 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius ready.
