DutchSHRIMP COCKTAIL WITH A WHISKY-BASED COCKTAIL SAUCE

A delicious cold appetizer. Shrimp cocktail with a whisky-based cocktail sauce. The sauce has a rich flavor and is prepared with single malt whisky and genuine whipped cream.

The sauce has a rich flavor and is prepared with single malt whisky and genuine whipped cream.

Servings: 4.

Ingredients:

1 pound of cooked shrimp,
4 oz loosely whipped cream,
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
2 to 3 tablespoons ketchup,
dash Worcestershire sauce,
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard,
pinch salt,
1 to 2 tablespoons single malt whisky,
1 teaspoon paprika,
3 oz crisphead lettuce with green herbs,
12 cherry tomatoes,
4 slices of lemon.

Directions:

Place the lettuce onto a platter, along with the green herbs.
Add the shrimp on top of that, and place two of the tomatoes on the side.

Mix the remaining ingredients.
Finish to taste.

Next, pour the sauce over the shrimp.

Serve cold.

Serving Tip:

Serve with a slice of lemon on the side.
The lemon juice will give it a refreshing taste.
